PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a chewable agent which does not cause sticking during the process for forming tablets, and to obtain a chewable agent which can control the odor and bitter taste characteristic of branched amino acids, shows an excellent stability during its usage and storage, and which contains, as the active ingredients, three amino acids respectively having branched chains. SOLUTION: The method producing the chewable agent containing, as the active ingredients, the three branched amino acids such as isoleucine, leucine, and valine, is characterized by having the three processes, i.e., the process for producing granules by granulating a particle mixtures consisting of three kinds of particles respectively containing the three amino acids as the active ingredients, the process for producing coated granules coated with a coating liquid containing a binder component, and the process for producing the chewable agent by forming tablets from the coated granules.
