PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing which hardly brings early exfoliation or seizure even if it is used under a high vibration, heavy load, high temperature condition and has a long life. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing is provided with inner and outer rings 2, 3 and rolling bodies 4. In a rolling bearing whose fitting ratio F defined by the bellow expression is 0% and in which the outer ring 2 is fitted to the housing 8 and lubricated by grease 10 in a certain fitting ratio, the inner and outer rings 2, 3 are made of steel including a specified quantity of alloy component and the rest is composed of iron or inevitable impurities, the residual austenite of the inner ring 3 is set 0-6% in volume, and the residual austenite of the outer ring 2 is set 6-20% in volume, and the surface hardness of the track faces 2a, 3a of the inner and outer rings 2, 3 is set HRC 57 or higher and HRC 65 or lower. F=(DE-DH)/DE×100(%), wherein, DE is the outer diameter of the outer ring 2, DH is the inner diameter of the housing 8.
