PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency by preventing the structure of an apparatus from being complex due to the increase of the number of parts, and curtailing time from the end of discharging a sheet-like recording material to the start of the next supply of the sheet.
SOLUTION: By making the position where the supply of a printing plate 12 from a plate feed guide 20 is started coincide with the position where the discharge of the printing plate 12 from a rotary drum 16 is completed, the printing plate 12 being retained in the plate feed guide 20 can be received promptly before a printing plate 12 discharge operation to a plate delivery guide 22 is finished to improve work efficiency. By locating the plate feed guide 20 and the plate delivery guide 22 closely, a front end chuck 26 and a rear end chuck 36 can be used commonly when the printing plate 12 is supplied and when it is discharged so that the structure of the apparatus can be simplified.
