PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly carry and stack plate-like products without any trouble at a large product passage rate in a carrying and stacking device (10) which is used for carrying and stacking thin plates or other plate-like products (12) and has a carrier (14) connected to a stacker (16).
SOLUTION: An aerial carrier (18) is installed, and has a holding system (22) which is disposed on the upper side of the stacker (16) at least within a partially stacking area (20) and started and stopped. A delay system which starts the effective holding force of the aerial carrier in a temporally delayed manner at the time when a forward area of the product is different from a stacking area in the stacking direction when viewed in the carrying direction is provided.
