PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of tensioning tendon by which a plurality of tendons can be tensioned easily.
SOLUTION: In this method of tensioning a plurality of tendons (11, 12, and 13), a jack 2 is installed to the end sections of the tendons (11, 12, and 13) and grippers (31, 32, and 33) are respectively attached to prescribed positions of the tendons (11, 12, and 13) in accordance with the precalculated amounts of extension of the tendons (11, 12, and 13) when a tensile force is applied. Then the tendons (11, 12, and 13) are tensioned in order from the one on which the effect of the gripper attached to the tendon starts to work. Consequently, the grippers (31, 32, and 33) are attached to the tendons (11, 12, and 13) in a stepped positional relation according to the amounts of extension of the tendons (11, 12, and 13).
