PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission for a manual transmission that can perform, with loss control force, selecting operation when forcibly releasing erroneous shifting prevention state, in preventing erroneous shifting from an advance gear stage to a reverse gear stage by an actuator. SOLUTION: In the transmission 1 for the manual transmission 2, a selecting cam 13 rotates to an advance position and to a reverse position corresponding to advance selection positions P12, N, P56 and reverse selection position PR, interlocking with selecting operation. A regulating cam 14 is driven to a prohibiting position by a plunger 15b when a solenoid 15 is exited to prohibit the rotation of the selecting cam 13 to the reverse position. Under the prohibiting state, a release projection 13b of the selecting cam 13 presses the regulating cam 14 to make the regulating cam 14 rotate from the prohibiting position to an allowance position, when interlocking with the selecting operation of an advance selection position side and rotating to an advance position side.
