PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printer having high durability so that its maintenance frequency can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the screen printer comprising a ceramic green sheet 1 formed on a surface of a carrier tape 2 and held on a support base 8 and printing a conductive paste 5 on the upper surface of the sheet 1 by using a screen 6 and a squeegee 7, the surface of the base 8 is formed of a porous plate 11, and a negative pressure is operated to an atmospheric chamber 12 by an air pump 14 to suck and hold the tape 2 to the base 8.
