PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery holder for ensuring storage and holding of a disc button battery, while being easy to mount/demount and small, light, thin and highly rigid. SOLUTION: The battery holder comprises a holder body 2, having first and second wall portions 4a, 4e provided at both ends of a bottom plate 3 corresponding to a lower face 33 of the disc battery 30 in opposition to a peripheral face 32 of the battery, a locking portion 4d provided on the first wall portion for locking the battery on its upper face 31 and a locking pawl 6 provided on the second wall portion for locking the battery on its upper face at a position of contact of the peripheral face 32 of the battery with the second wall portion and unlocking at a position of movement of the battery toward the first wall portion, all integrally formed with an insulating member, a first elastic electrode member 8 provided on the first wall portion and pressed against one side of the peripheral face 32 of the battery for pushing the other side of the peripheral face of the battery against the second wall portion, and a second elastic electrode member 9 provided on the second wall portion and pressed against the lower face 33 of the battery.
