PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage type electric heater which stores necessary energy corresponding to a heating area by a heat storage device, and easily conserses energy while reducing power consumption.
SOLUTION: This heat storage type electric heater has a warm air generator 1 and a heat storage device 2 incorporated therein and is equipped with a means 15 for giving an instruction on a heating area and a control means 16 for making the heat storage device store heat in the quantity corresponding to the heating area. Since the quantity of heat to be needed corresponding to the heating area on which the instruction is given through the intermediary of the instructing means 15 is stored by the heat storage device 2 according to this constitution, no unnecessary excess of heat storage occurs and thus it is possible to eliminate wasteful use of energy, while reducing power consumption.
