PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging apparatus for a combustion and gasification plant of the type for projecting fuel from a hopper to the apparatus via a supply table by at least one charging member. SOLUTION: The charging apparatus comprises at least one guide 16 for guiding guide units 18, 19, 20 with a shape of a feeder 15 for moving fuel and an annular shape at a charging member 14. In this case, the guide 16 is grasped by at least one gap sealing unit 21, 22 adapted to the guides of the apparatus.
