The present invention relates to organic semiconductors of the general formula (I)
based on stable radicals as an acceptor moiety. The present invention relates to organic bipolar charge-transporting and light-emitting stable radicals for organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), light-emitting field-effect transistors (FET), light-emitting vertical transistors (VOLET), optical and chemical sensors, memory devices, batteries, data storage devices, solar cells, photovoltaic devices, photodetectors, thermo-electric and photothermal conversion, external stress responsible probes, bio-, surface-imaging probes, but is not limiting by these examples of potential applications.
