There is disclosed an apparatus comprising: a processor; and a memory coupled to the processor; the processor being configured: to detect one or more measured values of one or more physiologic parameters of a subject indicating that an event is likely to occur; and to provide signaling to at least one stimulating device, the signaling comprising instructions for controlling a stimulus applied to the subject to reduce a likelihood that the event will occur.
