The present invention relates to a composition comprising a plant belonging to the genus Ocimum or a portion thereof and/or an extract of a plant belonging to the genus Ocimum, at least one sesquiterpene, at least one vitamin and a plant or a portion thereof belonging to the genus Moringa. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of the composition in the treatment or prevention of a mastitis in a dairy animal.
