The present invention relates to a method for preparing a hepatitis B virus nucleocapsid inhibitor. Specifically, the method of the present invention obtains a novel method for preparing a compound represented by formula (I) (each group is as defined in the description) by an optimization process. The method can significantly enhance the yield, improve the product purity, and significantly reduce genotoxic impurities in the product. Also disclosed in the present invention is a new intermediate for the preparation of the compound represented by formula (I).
