A damper (100) for a shock absorber, said damper comprising:
a single adjustable fluid circuit configured for controlling a damping force associated with multiple compression forces of said shock absorber, wherein said single adjustable fluid circuit comprises:
a fluid passageway (322) through a base valve (112); and
a positionally adjustable piston assembly with a floating shim stack (218) positioned at one end of said fluid passageway (322), said positionally adjustable piston assembly with said floating shim stack (218) configured for selectively blocking a flow of fluid through said fluid passageway.
