摘要:
A task of the present invention is to provide a coating composition which is advantageous in that an alumina composite thin film having high insulating properties and high hardness can be produced from the composition by a heat treatment at a relatively low temperature using a sol-gel process. In the present invention, there is provided an alumina composite sol composition comprising (A) an alumina sol containing an alumina hydrate, (B) an alkoxysilane compound, (C) a polyvalent organic acid, and (D) a solvent, wherein the amount of the alumina hydrate in the alumina sol (A) is 3 to 11% by mass.
