Container for receiving a bag (2) filled with a fluid, in particular a biopharmaceutical fluid, wherein connector tubing (3) is attached to the bag (2), the container (1) comprising
- a dish portion (4) and a lid portion (5),
- wherein the dish portion (4) is divided into a main compartment (6) of the container (1) and a tubing compartment (7) of the container (1),
- and wherein the lid portion (5) includes a main portion (8), a tubing portion (9), and a hinge (11) between the main portion (8) and the tubing portion (9),
- and wherein the hinge (11) is adapted to allow for an opening of the tubing portion (9) while the main portion (8) remains closed, such that the bag (2) remains protected in the main compartment (6) while the connector tubing (3) in the tubing compartment (7) is accessible from the outside.
