The present disclosure relates to a distance measurement apparatus, a distance measurement method, and a distance measurement system that permits speedup of operation of a TOF sensor as a whole by speeding up operation of ADCs.
In a distance measurement apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure, a light reception section includes a plurality of AD conversion sections for AD conversion of pixel signals read out from the pixels. The AD conversion sections switch between first AD conversion performed with an accuracy of a first bit count and second AD conversion performed with an accuracy of a second bit count that is larger than the first bit count. The calculation section measures a distance to the target by using a result of the first or second AD conversion by the AD conversion sections. The present disclosure is applicable to a vehicle-mounted TOF sensor, for example.
In a distance measurement apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure, a light reception section includes a plurality of AD conversion sections for AD conversion of pixel signals read out from the pixels.
