The invention relates to optical coupling of a photonic chip to an external device by means of a two-lens system. Photonics chip (1) comprises a guiding layer of the light (12) supported by a substrate (10) and covered by an encapsulating layer (13) and a lens (14) integrated at one of these front and rear faces. The layer of light guide includes a waveguide (121) coupled to a flux-switching network (122). There is provided an arrangement of one or more reflecting structures (151, 152) each on one of the front and rear faces. This arrangement has a reflective structure on the rear side and is formed to ensure the propagation of light between the flux-coupling grating and the lens along an optical path having at least one folding. The invention also covers the method of manufacturing such a photonic chip.
