- un châssis dormant (10), comprenant une traverse supérieure, une traverse inférieure et deux montants verticaux des moyens d'étanchéité étant prévus entre le châssis dormant et l'ouverture,

Selon l'invention, le châssis dormant est disposé dans l'ouverture en saillie vers l'extérieur de l'ouverture de manière à positionner le vantail (20) entièrement à l'extérieur de l'ouverture (3), côté extérieur au bâtiment, le vantail (20) pouvant passer d'une position de fermeture, dans laquelle le vantail (20) obture complètement l'ouverture laissée par le châssis dormant (10) au niveau de l'ouverture , à une position d'ouverture, dans laquelle le vantail (20) se retrouve décalé latéralement par rapport à l'ouverture (O10) laissée par le châssis dormant.
The invention relates to a sliding window comprising a window installation equipment (1) attached in an opening in a wall of a building, said window equipment comprising: - a fixed frame (10), comprising an upper cross member , a lower cross member and two vertical uprights of the sealing means being provided between the fixed frame and the opening, - a casement (20) slidably mounted in the fixed frame, comprising a glazing (21), including double or triple windows, - a guide system for guiding the door leaf relative to the fixed frame comprising at least one guide rail formed on the top rail or bottom (12) of the casing (10). According to the invention, the window frame is disposed in the opening projecting outwardly from the opening so as to position the leaf (20) wholly outside of the opening (3), outside the building , the wing (20) movable between a closed position, wherein the leaf (20) completely closes the opening left by the fixed frame (10) at the opening, to an open position, wherein the leaf (20) is reflected laterally offset from the opening (O10) retained by the fixed frame.
