摘要：
The present invention has: a first control unit (61) that, when a sailing stop condition is satisfied, executes a sailing stop control for stopping a drive source (1) and setting an automatic transmission (100) to a neutral state; and a second control unit (62) that, when releasing the sailing stop control, if the magnitude of the deceleration of a vehicle is equal to or greater than a prescribed value, starts the drive source (1) to downshift a variator (3), and after the downshift is complete, fastens a fastening element (41). By doing so, it becomes possible to downshift the gear ratio of the variator before the vehicle stops, even if a brake operation is performed during the sailing stop control.
