In the package (2), both side edges (4a, 4b) and a bottom edge (6) are closed throughout; an applicator insertion section (10) and a pouch housing section (12) situated adj acently in a lateral direction are defined; in a top edge (8), a site (8b) corresponding to the pouch housing section (12) is closed at least partially, while a site (8a) corresponding to the applicator insertion section (10) is open; and the pouch (14) is positioned within the pouch housing section (12), with the one end edge to be unsealed facing downward.
