[Solution] To provide a volatile disinfectant produced by bubbling ozone gas into a volatile solvent, the volatile solvent containing at least one volatile liquid paraffin, one volatile silicone oil, or a mixture thereof as a base under stirring the volatile solvent to thereby allow the volatile solvent to contain the ozone gas, the volatile disinfectant characterized in that, when applied to an object, the volatile disinfectant inactivates pathogens on the object and then volatilizes from the object.
