摘要：
The invention relates to ammunition with an explosives-free projectile (20, 20', 30, 30', 40), which releases a fuel or a fuel mixture as an inflammable air-fuel mixture upon breaking apart at the target, said air-fuel mixture being reacted spontaneously by at least one explosives-free, spark-generating ignition mechanism (4) triggered when the projectile breaks apart on impact. The thus produced optical and thermal target signature can be detected with the naked eye and with telescopic sights or other optical target detecting systems as well as with night-vision or thermal-imaging devices.
