The apparatus comprises two suction arms (10, 12) for receiving blister packs (2) in a receiving position in a punching station (4) and for depositing the blister packs (2) in a dispensing position on a conveying means (6), said suction arms (10, 12) pivot in opposite directions. Each suction arm (10, 12) has a first segment (14, 22), a second, intermediate segment (16, 24), and a third segment (18, 26). The three segments are mounted to pivot about three different axes. The transfer movement of the blister packs (2) from the receiving position to the delivery position and back is a combined movement, composed at least of the pivotal movements of the three segments about the three axes. The second segments (16, 24) are pivoted into the receiving position and in the dispensing position respectively in the direction to a center plane inwardly and in the opposite pivotal movement of the suction arms (10, 12) between the receiving position and discharge position are the second segments (16, 24 ) apart pivoted, so that the suction arms (10, 12) can pass each other without collision.
