The invention relates to a wheel for a motor vehicle, comprising a wheel body (3) with a rim bed (7) for accommodating a tire, and a spoked rim (9) or a wheel disk, through-bores (13) being provided in the spoked rim or wheel disk to accommodate fastening means (17) for fastening the wheel body (3) to a vehicle axle. The wheel body (3) is produced from a reinforced polymer material and is connected to a cover (5) by a friction fit, material bonding or a form fit, the cover (5) concealing the spoked rim (9) or the wheel disk. The invention further relates to a method for producing the wheel.
