The shifter assembly (30) comprises a shift actuator (40) pivotally mounted to the housing (32) and having a gear arm (68) defining a first axis (A1) and a selection arm (70) defining a second axis (A2) spaced from the first axis (A1). The gear arm (68) being fixed relative to the selection arm (70). The shifter assembly (30) comprises a shift lever (34) fixed to the shift actuator (40) and movable in a first direction (D1) and a second direction (D2). The shifter assembly (30) comprises a gear emitter (104) coupled to the gear arm (68) for movement with the gear arm (68) with the gear emitter (104) transmitting a signal to the gear receiver (110). The shifter assembly (30) comprises a selection emitter (138) coupled to the selection arm (70) for movement with the selection arm (70) with the selection emitter (138) transmitting a signal to the selection receiver (144).
