A device for moving an object linearly (81, 82, 83, 84; 91, 92; 201, 202) comprises a movement element (2), that is associable with the object (81, 82, 83, 84; 91, 92; 201, 202) and is provided with a threaded portion (22) that is suitable for engaging with nut screw means (3), and linear actuator means (4, 5, 6, 7) acting along a first direction (Al) that is transverse to a longitudinal axis (B) of the movement element (2) in such a manner as to rotate the nut screw means (3) by consecutive angular leads (a) and move the movement element (2) along the longitudinal axis (B); the movement element (2) comprises an end (23) provided with first stopping means (24) arranged for abutting on second stopping means (31) of the nut screw means (3) and locking in a defined initial position (P) the movement element (2) thereby preventing further movement of the latter along the longitudinal axis (B) in an advancing direction (CI, C2).
