To provide an absorbent article that can further reduce leakage of body fluid from an end portion in a longitudinal direction. An elongated shaped absorbent article 1 includes: a top sheet 2 that has a skin contacting surface; a back sheet 3; and a absorbent core 4 that is disposed between the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3, in which a compressed groove 7 is formed on the skin contacting surface; the skin contacting surface has an excretory contact region A, a front region B, and a rear region C; the compressed groove 7 has a pair of first central grooves 71 and a first circular groove 72 that is provided in at least any one of the front region B and the rear region C; and the first circular groove 72 is arranged at a position overlapping a vertical center line S1.
