The present invention relates to the use of at least one, optionally oligomeric, addition product that comprises no terminal C=C double bonds and has hydrolyzable silane groups and other functional groups, preferably amino groups, as an adhesion promoter between a coating based on at least one polymer and a substrate surface that can be made of different materials.
