The invention relates to a hydromechanical spring-operated mechanism for activation of at least one switch contact of a power switch, particularly in a high voltage substation, said hydromechanical spring-operated mechanism having a hydraulically activated CO (close-open) delay circuit that delays the activation of the switching process of the power switch, wherein there is an electromechanical actuator (10) in place of hydraulic activation of the CO delay circuit.
