摘要：
A protective device for an injection or infusion needle (2) is provided comprising a needle hub (1) at the proximal end of the needle, on whose shaft a protective member (3) for the needle tip is displaceable, the protective member having an engaging section (3b) which engages with the needle shaft to prevent the protective member (3) from being displaced beyond the needle tip, wherein the protective member (3) is surrounded by a tube (5) whose diameter is locally reduced or deformed such that the protective member (3) is confined in the tube (5).
