A system for managing the exercise of an animal such as a human being so that the animal can be trained to exercise with an appropriate scale and rhythm while harmonizing movement of the animal with the respective operations of two devices for inducing the exercise of the animal in different forms. In the exercise management system (1) of the invention, the speed of the walking of the user is regulated by the operation of a treadmill (first exercise inducing device) (10). The walking of the user is induced while the exercise scale is being regulated with a rhythm harmonized with the exercise rhythm of the animal by the operation of the walking inducing device (second exercise inducing device) (20). In this induction, the operation of the walking inducing device (20) is controlled according to the waking speed v (as necessary, walking rate p). With this, while the walking of the user, the operation of the treadmill (10), and the operation of the waking inducing device (20) are harmonized, the user can be trained so that the user walks with an appropriate scale and rhythm.
