Apparatus for punching out individual blanks, following one another in a longitudinal direction, from a strip-shaped material in each case along a closed circumferential contour, characterized by a first punching station for punching a first section of the circumferential contour, said section extending over a width B transversely to the longitudinal direction, and by a second punching station for punching a remaining second section of the circumferential contour adjoining the first section as viewed transversely to the longitudinal direction, wherein the second punching station has a cutting roller pair, in which at least one roller, within the width B corresponding to the first section of the circumferential contour, is provided with an encircling recess for engagement of a removal device for removing the punched-out blanks.
