The invention relates to an evaporator (1 ), in particular for an air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle, comprising flow channels for a coolant and ribs which can be impinged upon by air and which are arranged on the outside of the flow channels. According to the invention, at least one cooling element (5) which can be cross-flown by a coolant (5) in connected in a thermally conductive manner to the evaporator (1) and is connected to a secondary circuit (6) which acts as a cooler for the consumers, in particular electronic components (8).
