The invention provides a handle support (4) intended to be fixed on the inner wall of an opening and in which is capable of being articulated rotatably a gripper (3) for, when actuated, the controlling a lock, said support comprising a front portion (4a) comprising the connection for the gripping element (3) and a rear portion (4b). The holder (4) according to the invention is characterized in that it has a connecting area (11) located between the front part (4a) and the rear part (4b) of said support and the mechanical characteristics allow a movement on the front and back parts following application of mechanical stresses located beyond a given threshold.
