The present invention relates to a hook product for a hook and loop fastening system, the hook product comprising a plurality of hooks (250,260,260',260'',300,300',300'') extending from a common shoot-form base, each of the plurality of hooks (250,260,260',260'',300,300',300'') comprising:
a stem portion (262,262',262") integrally molded with and extending from the sheet-form base to a distal end, the stem portion (262,262',262") having a planar side (263,265,266'); and
a crook portion (264,264',264") extending from the distal end of the stem portion (262,262',262'') to overhang the sheet-form base in an overhang direction, the crook portion (264,264',264'') having a flat planar side (267) co-planar with the planar side (263,265,266') of the stem (262,262',262"), and an upper surface (274) extending upward from an upper extent of the planar side (267) of the crook portion (264,264',264'') to an apex (270).
