摘要:
A method for determination of the responsiveness of an individual to mistletoe lectin or to (an) individual mistletoe lectin chain is disclosed, whereby the expression of a membrane-bound receptor for mistletoe lectin is characteristic for a corresponding responsiveness. The receptor is characterised by a terminal N-acetylneuraminic acid (Neu5Ac) bonded to a galactose by means of a glycosidic alpha-2,6 bond. Another method for the determination of the responsiveness to mistletoe lectin is also disclosed based on the detection of a sialyl transferase.
