The invention relates to a device for conveying empty rolls (09) removed by at least one roll changer of a web-fed rotary press. Said device comprises at least one empty roll receptacle (08) that can be displaced between the roll changer where the empty rolls (09) are held by the empty roll receptacle (08) after they are removed from the roll changer, and comprises an emptying station (07) where the empty roll receptacle (08) can be emptied. A collection receptacle (12) is provided in the emptying station and the empty roll receptacle (08) can be emptied into the collection receptacle.
