Device (203,204,205) for connecting a wireless network to at least one other network comprising a bridge module for managing a plurality of ports for connecting to respective networks, the device comprising a wireless network management module (302) for managing associations, with an access point (202) of a centralized wireless network (201), of devices (209,210,211,215) of networks (207,208) connected to the bridge device other than the wireless network; wherein the bridge device is adapted to be a station of the wireless network. In embodiments thereof, the device is a wirless bridge according to IEEE 802.1D between a WLAN such as 802.11 a HIPERLAN2 and one or several hierarchical networks such as Ethernet or USB.
