The invention relates to a handle for a tool (2). The inventive handle comprises a bow-shaped handle end section (11), a straight middle section (6, 4) and a fixing end section (10a) for attaching the tool (2). The handle is characterised in that a S-bow-shaped handle section is arranged between the straight middle section and the fixing end section. Said S-bow-shaped handle section is provided with a first, straight handle area (9) which is connected to the middle section (4, 6) by means of a first, bent section (9a) and a second, straight handle area which is connected to the first, straight handle area by means of a second, bent section. The fixing end section is connected to the second handle area.
