A storage box comprising a housing (10) defining a first storage compartment (14) having a main thermoelectric element (20) associated therein and which is operable to cool the first storage compartment (14), is disclosed. The storage box also includes a second housing (50) defining a second storage compartment (52) which is disposed within the first storage compartment (14). The second storage compartment has a second thermoelectric element (60) associated with it and which is operable to cool the second storage compartment (52) to a temperature lower than the temperature of the first storage compartment (14).
