A piezoelectric displacement element (11) is installed that displaces a recording head (6) in the direction of paper feed or recording sheets. The recording head (6) is moved by a predetermined amount by the piezoelectric displacement element (11) in response to the switching of the printing pass, so that the accuracy of paper micro-feed in the direction of auxiliary scanning can be improved without being influenced by the accuracy of the paper feed mechanism.
