摘要：
The present invention provides an imaging element comprising on a support in the order given a photosensitive layer comprising a silver halide emulsion and an image-receiving layer comprising physical development nuclei, characterised in that said support is a polyester film having a thickness between 0.1mm and 0.35mm and a Young modulus of at least 4300 N/mm². A printing plate may be obtained according to the silver salt diffusion transfer process. Such printing plate has improved printing properties in that the number of copies that have to be disposed of at the start of the printing process can be reduced.
