Procédé de vapocraquage d'hydrocarbures, dans un four (10) de vapocraquage à tubes (12) relié à des moyens (16) de trempe indirecte des effluents gazeux sortant du four, le procédé consistant à laisser se former une couche de coke dure sur les parois internes de l'installation, en particulier sur les parois internes des tubes (12) du four, puis à injecter dans la charge d'hydrocarbures et de vapeur d'eau à craquer, une faible quantité de particules solides érosives, que l'on sépare des effluents gazeux dans un cyclone (28) prévu en sortie des moyens de trempe indirecte. L'invention permet un fonctionnement continu d'une installation de vapocraquage.

A method of steam cracking hydrocarbons in a furnace (10) to steam cracking tubes (12) connected to means (16) for indirect cooling of the gas exiting the furnace exhaust, the method comprising allowing coke to form a hard coat layer on the inner walls of the installation, in particular on internal walls of the tubes (12) of the furnace, then to be injected into the hydrocarbon feedstock and steam cracking, a small amount of solid erosive particles, as is separated flue gas in a cyclone (28) provided at the outlet of the indirect cooling means. The invention enables continuous operation of a steam cracking facility.
