Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren und Einrichtung zur Regelung eines Brenners oder anderer Wärmeerzeuger mit automatischer Anpassung der Wassertemperatur an den Wärmebedarf und zum Schutz des Brenners vor zu häufigem Ein- und Ausschalten. Um die Anzahl der Anlaufvorgänge zu reduzieren und um die Anlage umweltfreundlicher zu machen, ist es vorgesehen, daß im Steuer- oder im Hauptstromkreis des Brenners ein Pausenkontakt und eine Zeitmeßeinrichtung zur Messung der Einschaltdauer des Brenners und zur Vergabe einer davon abhängigen gegensinnig variablen Pausenzeit vorhanden ist.

Disclosed is a method and device for controlling a burner or other heat generators with automatic adjustment of the water temperature to the heat requirement and the protection of the burner before to frequent switching. To reduce the number of starts and to make eco-friendly around the plant, it is provided that a break contact and a time measuring device for measuring the operating time of the burner and for the award of a dependent oppositely variable pause time is present in the control or in the main circuit of the burner ,
