The utility model discloses an intelligent torsional damping rod. A first connection block, a loop-shaped piezoelectric torsional actuator and a second connection block are mounted at the lower end of the hollow round rod in turn from top to bottom; a sensor is mounted on the internal surface or the external surface of the hollow round rod of the end where the loop-shaped piezoelectric torsional actuator is mounted. When the torsional deformation or torsional vibration is generated relatively to the connection end, the signals detected by the sensor are inversely amplified and then sent into the loop-shaped piezoelectric torsional actuator and the loop-shaped piezoelectric torsional actuator generates a torsion moment with the phase which is reversed against that of the torsional deformation to inhibit the deformation or vibration of the rod. The sensing is integrated with the driving control for the rod and the rod has advantages of compact structure, good control characteristics, low power consumption, good damping effects, etc. The utility model can be widely used in the operating lever, the truss structure of the space robot and in the field of the active vibration control with the requirement for the damping (isolation) of the torsional vibration.
