The utility model discloses a partial discharge test device for an insulating pull rod. The device comprises a transformer, an insulating pull rod, an ultrahigh frequency detector and an ultrasonic detector, the insulating pull rod comprises a high-voltage end, an insulating rod and a grounding end which are connected in sequence; the high-voltage end is connected with the output end of the transformer through a wire. The grounding end is grounded through a wire. An ultrasonic partial discharge detection sensor is arranged at the grounding end, a signal receiver of the ultrahigh frequency detector is arranged on one side of the insulating pull rod, a detection signal input end of the ultrasonic detector is connected with the ultrasonic partial discharge detection sensor, and metal foils are wound at the joints of the high-voltage end, the grounding end and the wires. The device is simple in structure and high in practicality, does not need to be tested in a GIS, and improves the electric field distribution at two ends of the insulating pull rod, thereby eliminating the influence of corona on the test.
