The utility model discloses a device for testing the safety performance of an electric appliance of a water storage type water heater. The system comprises a water supply system, a power supply system, a monitoring system and a controller, the controller receives signals monitored by the monitoring system and controls the water supply system and the power supply system to work according to a preset program, and automatic operation of various electric appliance safety performance tests and real-time recording of whole-process data are achieved. The water heater electric appliance safety performance test does not depend on manual duty any more, operation is easy and convenient, and meanwhile the test accuracy and safety are greatly improved.
