With the capping device in the utility model, a plant top can be removed without damaging plant leaves (such as tobacco leaves) through coordination between the cutting execution part and an air blower; further, air leakage rate is reduced by the guidance component; furthermore, working height of the capping device can be adjusted automatically by a lifting mechanism in order to satisfy capping demands of plants with different heights conveniently; and then the capping device in the utility model realizes automatic and efficient capping of the plant.
